Tamilnadu employee DA rates updated on new pay scales, Find sanctioned revised rate of dearness allowance to above 16 lakhs State Government employees, Teachers and Pensioners / Family Pensioners in Tamilnadu who will benefit through Dearness Allowance hike. An expenditure of above 6480 crores said to add state budget every year for hike made to benefit government employees.
Tamilnadu revised budget released for enhanced DA Rates to all government pensioners and employee at the time implemented. In recent announcement, this made clear that the Dearness Allowance may not effective in 2021 but applied from Jan 2022 which may shown in TN payslip for January salary.

Usually the state government announces the DA hike soon after the memo released by the central government, but the Tamilnadu State Government has changed the scenario and made their effective later from the Union government DA hike date as per the local condition for Tamilnadu DA rate.
